Our Story.

Our natural hair journey began in 2016.I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting into. For me, all I wanted was to break the monotony of every black girls belief – you have to relax your hair to look pretty.Unspoken fear was written all over my face as I cut every strand saying goodbye to what I had known as beauty – Relaxed hair. I wanted to get back to the roots of who I was.I began to spend hours reading and learning from others that had succeeded with our kind of hair – natural 4c hair. I watched YouTube videos and experimented with my hair. Of course the authenticity with which I began this journey to grow healthy natural hair has been tested. Yet the fulfillment derived is nothing compared to the trenches…
